well
since
the cedar waxwing
got all the attention yesterday
{thanks to everyone who knew what it was}
little miss sassy pants here
showed up to remind me
that it's really the
robins
who are the boss this time of year
around this area
~~
and
just like a cage door being opened after months of
"let me out of here"
they have arrived
and
everywhere you look
there they are
~~
spring really is here
isn't it
*
happy weekend
everyone
Yes, it is thank goodness. Now if all of this dang rain would move along I could be a happier camper ;0)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous picture! I hope Spring is here we had rain and cold today. I look at pictures from last year at this time and we had tons of crocus up and blooming, nothing yet! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one yet ! The cardinals are making the "I want whoopie" calls all over the place though - another sign...Ahhhhhh...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy !
The Robins can't be wrong...can they?
ReplyDeleteJoyous greetings to the robin signaling Spring! Welcome!
ReplyDeleteHope they arrive here soon ... Beth, what is a casa?
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous gal! Happiness is here...yay Spring!
ReplyDeleteThank you, for your answer, Beth. I think I have heard you refer to it before and I have always wondered. I can imagine that you would have been very good at it. So many children need someone that truly cares.
ReplyDeleteI bet little miss sassy pants was singing....."happy spring, happy spring."
ReplyDeleteMy hubby heard the first Sandy Hill crane yesterday, so yes, it really is spring.
the weathered berries provide just the ticket for an early spring snack and the branches a lovely backdrop for little miss red dress to show her stuff...tweet!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it has arrived. The robins know.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to hear the birds singing and see them hopping around the yard looking for goodies???
ReplyDeleteI love robins. They might be my favorite bird. They are pretty, hop around the yard (you can't help byt smile), and they have a gorgeous song. Thanks for the lovely picture.
ReplyDeletelove, love, love the robins...and this image.. BRILLIANT..
ReplyDelete♥happy weekend....
ANother fabulous shot! I see why you NEED a 70-200, 2.8 - would make these shots a bit easier, right?

I had a flock of robins in my backyard this morning before the rain...and it made me think of you:)...love the loud sound of the birds these early spring days...
ReplyDeletethat first robin in the spring is exhilarating.
ReplyDeleteI know they are there, but they are playing hide and seek at the moment and I have not seen one! I will keep looking though! I laughed so hard at your comment on my post about everyone looking the same in pics. I could NOT agree with you more and it is a running joke with my friends that I say the same thing and claim to be in all their pics as well! And I DO think you were at the party pictured- lol!
ReplyDeleteYes, the robins are strutting
ReplyDeletetheir red stained chests here
too and. . . it makes me happy.
Gorgeous image Beth!
