sometimes....

sometimes
we look plain
and
a little washed out
and
feel too simple
inside

sometimes
we look overly exposed
and
feel
afraid that everyone
can see all the little details
that we'te trying
to
hide
sometimes
we look
intensely radiant
and
feel
monstrously important
with
enough strength
to conquer our fears

and
sometimes
we look
shielded
and
a little shadowy
yet
decide
that maybe
we
feel
that this
is
the most
beautiful
of
all
~~~~~
so tell me
sweet ones
how are you feeling
  3. I'm looking a little plain and washed out these days. Simple? No, I'm feeling like there are so many layers underneath, it's almost overwhelming.
    This is lovely. (Do you get tired of having me say how lovely your posts are? Because, oh, they are!)
  6. Beth,
    I am feeling overwhelmed. I to need a bit of glitter dusting. Our house is in the process of being sold and I am feeling a bit sad as well. Our first home our first 12 years of memories. Our first major accomplishment will become another mans new start.
    peace to you,
    Angelica
  7. This is a perfect post. Absolutely perfect.
    How am I feeling? Radiant. I've had a few major successes at work. Three children that I know for certain I've made a difference in their lives. You don't always know. Mostly, you just have to hope and pray. And keep on doing. On Friday - well, I knew. What a gift that was!
