It was fresh
and
new
It means a change
~~~~~
It was cold
and
invigorating
It means life
~~~~~
It was bright
and
beautiful
It means everything
~~~~~
it means
I wanted to go outside with my camera
it means
I had
to go outside with my camera
and
capture it all
our first snow
which
got
caught
in the grass blades
and
the rocks
and
for the first time in my life
really appreciate
what was there
right there
laying at my feet
waiting
for
me
what a charming post with such images in the verses you write, I enjoy experiencing the weather in other areas in this way such a treat (we are sunny 65 degrees)
ReplyDeleteYour post is beautiful!!! Don't you love the changing of the seasons? We are so lucky (until it's below zero and hazardous road conditions). We didn't get snow- just a few flurries but just east of here Indiana and Michigan got dumped on.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by to visit and commnet the other day. I so appreciate it!
Oh, my dear ... and the newfound respect is evident, because it is SNOW and not sneaux. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely! I know what you mean -- those first snowfalls -- or the really sticky ones -- take on new meaning when you are out shooting it!
ReplyDeleteSo, my question is when oes "snow" become "sneaux"?
Beth,
