sometimes we forget.....

something about these words remind me of a line in "country strong." a movie i loved. speaking of movies, we watched "arbitrage" last weekend and would love to compare notes with anyone else who saw it. well only the ending needs to be discussed. we were all like, "what?"
also, did anyone see, "happythankyoumoreplease"...it was really cute. i'm so thankful we have showtime, hbo and charter on demand to fill some of our evening hours now that it's cold out.

  1. Oh Beth this is the perfect quote for my morning.

I have not seen either movie you mention here, and now you got me curious...well done ;-)

  2. I saw Arbitrage. Certainly challenges the innate need for fairness and evil-doers paying, doesn't it? But given the way that the real-life banking debacle played out. . . .

  4. I love movies. Haven't seen these, however. Tonight am watching Moonrise Kingdom, recommended to me by a friend. Got the DVD from Netflix yesterday. Well, actually it could have come last week. I have this mailbox issue, you know.

  6. Have not seen those movies, sorry. But I love that quote. I used to fuss at my mother for all her worrying because she prayed a LOT! The two cannot coexist. Your photo is beautiful also. :)

I so rarely watch TV or movies, I love that you enjoy them and share.

  9. Beth, this quote is for me. Most definitely. I need to plant it in my mind and let it grow! Movies.... not much along those lines here. We did venture out to see Argo, which was very good. We don't have all of the movie channels at my house. Sports channels, affirmative.

    Have a great week!
