well, sometimes.....

i truly believe that a new bag or a good book or a pair of boots or a lined journal or a cup of hot tea are the best things, ever...well, at least at the moment of falling in love with them. let's at least agree on that, should we :)
deep down though, we all know that it's our spouses and love and our children and love and our pets and love and our families and love that are the best things in life. always.

  3. I agree with you Beth. The best things in life are the little things, the moments. A look, a touch, a smile...

  5. That quote is so true. I've got about 12 Coach bags. Each purchase makes me happy for 1/2 day. Now camera equipment? Well, that's another matter...:)

  6. Yes...you speak the truth. I look at this winding road you've shared and think of the simple joy in following it -- to simply "see" what lies before me... xo

  11. I see it's been misty there. No snow to speak of here in CO. It's one of the "things" I want! I also must confess that I flunked the meditation challenge. Hope you did better. Your famil pics are awesome.

  13. I'm with you on the book, but I need an unlined journal. And lots of time with Jeffrey and Sloane.
