darn it anyway, when the soul and the mind and the heart and the head have a huge party and don't get along. fingers get pointed, voices get raised and someone walks out and slams the door. why can't they all just get along? everyday. and maybe dance a little. the "hustle" would be fun.
Great shares Beth! Good reminders. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI've been watching your posts this week, but too busy to respond. Well, now, here I am! Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteFirst time I have ever visited...found you via old grey mare. I just love your blog - especially since I am a photographer and writer. Your work is just beautiful, but your spirit is inspiring. Your words for today is just what I needed - really! Read my post for today, as it has been a while since I posted. Are these your words on your photos? If so, they are so very touching - and true! I will be back often for inspiration.
Big hugs
Elizabeth
I know of the challenge you speak, sweet friend...in my mind there is a monkey and it thinks itself very busy, so I can't quiet it...no matter how hard I try...Any ideas?

That's what meditation is for.
ReplyDeleteDance is good.
ReplyDeleteI see meditation is recommended, which is good. But it still is difficult to quiet the mind in meditation.
Tomorrow will be a better day, and hopefully ALL will play nicely together!!!
ReplyDeleteTrue :) Let the soul talk while the mind listens.
ReplyDeleteNYC is way too noisy to silence my mind...but I'm working on it. ;) Cheers from NYC !
ReplyDeleteIn agreement. Stupid family dymanics of the head, heart, soul happening here too, plus a little body crap thrown in for bad measure.
ReplyDeleteWorking on finding harmony. Looking for the good and hoping to latch on.
Love you, Beautiful !
I agree 100%. And so I try to do that....taking time with my camera usually helps.
ReplyDeleteOh, we have several drama-lovers in our family. Sigh. Know the drill well. It'll blow over soon I hope. Take care sweet Beth. :)
ReplyDeleteDancing cures everything, inside and out!
