e.t. phone home....

before my surgery yesterday,
i walked around the house and my art studio
and
played with my phone. well actually, the camera on my phone.

here are just a few of my instagram and hipstamatic photos.
~
i'm new to the whole iphone love affair
so if you have any apps that you think are full out "you can't live without" must haves
i'd love to hear about them
{especially the camera apps}
~
thank you everyone for the well wishes regarding my surgery.

  19. Best wishes as you recover from your surgery. I, too, hate the sound and smell of vomit and it will make me vomit just to hear it, so I empathize with your husband. I'm sending you healing thoughts and white light for a speedy recovery. We'll see you in a week or so.

  22. I understand the camera on the iPhone 4S is outstanding! I'm one of those few who gave up their iPhone and went back to a phone. That's because I have an iPad2 and trying to stay in the budget meant I couldn't afford a data plan on 2 devices and the iPad I use for lots of different things.

So, I'm not quite a Ludite, but close. BTW, you My Dear, could use an etchasketch and get a marvelous image.

  29. Huh? Surgery? OK -- reading backwards. Must keep on, but I hope all went well and that you are quite fine.

And I love these photos. Somehow, I think this is something I would have done, too.

  30. My three son's gave me my Droid phone for my 66th birthday. I really like it but I still don't know all the in's and out's.

I'm behind on your posts...had to delay my India trip - not even out of my house yet! Leaving instead, Nov 14th, flying to LA, to go on Korea Airlines. Will stop two days in a very wintery Seoul. Couldn't resist the free stopover. This will give me only five months in India.

Didn't realize you were having surgery.

    Wish you a speedy recovery,Beth!
