    maybe that squirrel is punk and that's the look he was going for.

  10. Nice pictures. Whenever I see mushrooms I walk on by, I may be seeing edible mushrooms but I would not know. The poor little squirrel sure did have a tough time didn't he? We some here once in awhile with scars.

    My fascination for mushrooms helped me surpass my hatred for the taste of them. I have a field book on them which I take around with me just to see if I can identify any. I've never managed it, which just goes to show how many varieties there are. But they're so intriguing. And complex biologically. Like aliens!

  19. I am a huge mushroom fan.. these look fantastic but I would probably be scared to actually eat them. I photograph the pretty ones and eat strictly only the ones from the store.

    In my mother's neighborhood, the squirrels were always warring with cats! I think the cats won.

    I love mushrooms of all kinds!
