no really
your new haircut looks terrific. don't cry. it will always grow back. let's go shopping for an amazing scarf which when wrapped around your neck will make your hair look longer. it's not that bad. honest. nobody will even notice.

remember, the bugs are really slow right now and it's the best time to photograph them. to answer a question from my butterfly post....no, i never use a tripod and having eliminated almost all the caffeine from my diet, gives me a steady hand. i love questions about my camera and lenses and anything else to do with photography. so please. go ahead. ask me.

    How do you find the time for great photography. I had intentions of every photo I posted being 'perfect' at one point, but now time gets away from me and I no longer am taking the photo quality I was some months ago... *sigh*

    Thank you for that. :) It reminds me of You've Got Mail, when Meg Ryan talks about the butterfly on the subway going to buy a hat ... which will turn out to be a mistake, as most hats do. *sigh, now I'd like a new scarf. ;)

    Beth, I am amazed that you can make bugs look so beautiful...your haircut will grow. at least you have a neck to wrap a scarf around, lol. mine would just emphasie lack of neck and my chinss...ha...hope you had a great weekend. I hope you did not mind my comment about people carrying dogs in a bag....I do see your side now. thanks. I guess I have never walked far enough to tire a dog out. have a great day. hugs.

    unfortunately i have a family trait that cause's hand shake - especially the more i try to stay still. it's weird. so hats off to you that you can be so steady.

    i did cut my hair off short short and i love it.

    Yup! another brilliant shot!
    I was thinking of you as I was driving home the other day. If you want to come to my neck of the woods I have the best little haunt to pull over and take amazing pics. Should pick a nice, sunny day though. The fall colors will work wonders!

    love this shot, I love milkweed pods (that is milkweed, right?). I used to have a lot of it around my house but I don't see it so much anymore...

    I wish I could sit down with you and ask the questions about my camera. I am close to understanding, but just need a little more guidance. Your pictures are always so beautiful even if the hair is cut too short and you have to wear a scarf for awhile. Your fall must be getting so beautiful there now.
