this sweetie will be a senior next year
and
is my sister's niece from her husband's side of the family
since it was such a beautiful day on sunday
~but whoa, the wind~
and
she was in town visiting
i asked her if she wanted to practice for her senior photos next year
which really translates to
"can i practice shooting using your beautiful face and smile"
oh
what a doll she was
and
honestly
the overly windy photo ended up being one of my favorites
which proves to me that any day is a day to shoot
and
practice
~
oh teenagers
you do something amazing to my heart

Such a beautiful young woman and the windy photograph is also my favourite.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. It's the simple things in life.
ReplyDeleteYes, she is gorgeous. Did she have as much fun as you did?
ReplyDeleteyes, she's beautiful. and that second pic is my favorite. i'm sure you both had a great time.
ReplyDeletethat baby below is adorable. hope all is well.
The third one is my favorite. Beautiful girl, beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous girl...and it does look like she is having fun too. You managed to make the challenge of a windy day into an advantage:)
ReplyDeleteThe windy shot is the best! It reminds me of all the times my Mum would be taking photos and say "look natural!" over and over... if only there'd been a bit of wind, it would have "naturalised" the photos no end!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And yes, the windy picture is perfect. Who would have guessed?
ReplyDeleteShe is stunningly beautiful!!! And I don't think she needs senior photos now!!!! She's got you to take them!!! Gorgeous photos!! ~Janine XO
ReplyDeleteGorgeous girl, great photos.
ReplyDeleteshe is fresh and beautiful and you absolutely captured her spirit!!
ReplyDeleteforget about the senior pics...these will totally blow them out of the water!
ReplyDeleteYouth is a wonderful thing! What a lovely young lady. I love the third one down, although the windblown look is a good one too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she will have you do her senior pictures...she may not be happy with anyone else after these pictures.:)
ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful young lady, love the photos, no wonder she was smiling with you taking her photos. love them. be well.
ReplyDeleteThe one with the wind blowing her hair across her face is my favorite. She is a beautiful teenager.
ReplyDeleteIf these were just "practice" photos her "real" senior class pics photographer has a tough act to follow. These are wonderful. She's gorgeous.
ReplyDeletejj
Beth, you should take her senior pictures! You certainly are good enough.
ReplyDeletexo Erin
Awesome photos as usual dear Beth.
ReplyDeleteI too like the windy pic the best. When the seniors come and show me their pictures, I always like the ones that are a little quirky-less posed.
ReplyDeleteYou have a gift of capturing a teen's essence. You see so much good in them and your pictures bring those inner qualities to light somehow.
Teens do something amazing to my heart also--I can't imagine teaching any other age group.
(the other beth)
she's a doll....
ReplyDeleteWe've talked about this before, haven't we? There's just nothing like a teenager.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely girl! Soon she'll be off to college, with the whole world in front of her...exciting and terrifying!!
