it's okay to be yourself.....


my friend diana reminds me to dream big. so i do.

my big dream for next year is to teach. 
i want to teach a photography workshop.
in person. 
surrounded by all of you. hopefully by the beach.
~
just today i read this post
and
if i teach next year
this is what i'd love for all of you to know before you arrive
because
i want you all to be yourself. 
everyday. everywhere.

  1. I want you to know how much I want to come to your workshop. I promise to pack only things that make me comfortable, and my camera stuff of course. And we'll see how we can make everything work. I mean, if you're really going to have one. And if things are ok enough for me to come.

  4. What a great photo, Beth. I had to make it BIG - the bark and total texture just grab my attention. You always tell us to "be yourself" - it's right there in your title. I think with your BIG talent, you can do anything.

  11. I'm on the verge of a huge life change so this is definitely something I needed to see today. My dream is percolating in my head and as I start checking off the items on my list I become terrified. I need to just keep dreaming and believe that I can do it! Thanks for sharing. :)

  36. I think my favorite lessons are when you teach YOU... you are so talented. Although I know there is absolutely no way I would be able to come, I would love to follow it through blog world somehow. :) Maybe you could include us all online. :)
