take my word for it....

this is what it looks like outside
~
this photo was taken last year. but it looks the same this year.
i'd love to take a new photo for you. but i'd get blown away and end up in my neighbor's yard.
we have blizzard warnings out. yep. the wind is blowing that hard. we're talking up to 50 miles an hour. and cold. the high today will be 18 with a wind chill factor making it feel colder than the north pole.
~
so we're inside in for the day. poking fun at each other. eating chocolate covered pretzels.
~
and
who knows.
the highlight of our day just might be taking a nap

  3. Stay in the cozyness of you warm home my friend. Can't look over for you in neighbours back yard sorry my friend simpy don't got the time. Or you might tie a bundle of big balloons on your waist and fly our way...do wear thick gloves, scarfs etc etc otherwise you'll still freeze all the way over here.

Happy times Beth. And I'm loving this image.
Hugs to keep you warm Dagmar

  22. Do you have any idea how much I hate snow. The only thing I hate worse than snow is wind and ice. We have it all today. Your picture looks just like the lane to my house. A nap sounds like a perfect idea. Stay warm!

  23. I love this, even more than I love real snow. We are getting heavy rain here in Maine. The wind is supposed to kick up later, so I am wondering if our weather is connected?
