i'll take it....

it's been unseasonably warm here this month and we're not complaining
~
in fact
we'll take another month of it
or two
~
i took this photo last weekend while we hiking at devil's head lake
~
so this weekend
i hope you all have the chance to let your hair shine in the warmth of the sun
and
if your straps fall gracefully while your bottoms ride up your bum a bit
and
you have to brush chunks of sand off your legs
well
i consider that the most perfect outcome of these warm yellow and orange hued days

  9. It's a little crisp here for swimming in the lake, but oh the skies are blue, clear, and sun shining brightly. I love days like this. I wish they could go on too for a month or two. Happy fall day soaking up the sun and storing it in your heart for those winter days ahead.

Chilly here in Maryland today but oh, so warm and lovely in the sun. With a sweater on! And I am loving it.

  11. Bottoms riding up at this age is adorable. At my age it would definitely qualify me for a "Glamour Don't".

    Lovely shot Beth

  17. love the photo, if you saw my last post, you would be in a parka....that snow word had arrived, we still get the warm sun, just not so much the warm weather....take care, that could have been my picture when I was little for sure. Actually I do have one that looks very similar. hope you are well. hugs.

I can almost feel myself morphing right into her...spending so many summers of my childhood on the lake. What a capture..and the most perfect words to accompany it.
