last weekend
after shopping in a vintage furniture store downtown and then driving through an area we weren't familiar with
we found this
perfectly amazing old
house
~
it was hiding quietly behind some very overgrown shrubs and trees and in order to get this photo i had to get out of the car and walk up the driveway.
personally i think it's a bit haunted. probably only one ghost. maybe two at the most.
~
and
seriously
if there had a "for sale" sign in the front yard
we'd be signing a contract with a realtor today

Nothing like getting into the "spirit" of things!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house!
You and I would have to arm wrestle for this one, Beth. Really.
ReplyDeletethat's a magnificent house.
ReplyDeletemake the owners an offer anyway :)
what a magnificent find, that house. If you're serious... contact a local realtor and ask them to find out more about the house. Sometimes the family or occupant is in a frame of mind to sell.
ReplyDeleteTalk about opening new doors, right? Imagine!
Great house. It looks as though it belongs in a scary movie.
ReplyDeleteI may just beat you to bidding on it when it comes up for sale! LOL
Di
Oh, me too... I'm with Deb. Make them an offer anyway. I'm sure the ghost would be friendly...

ReplyDeleteBeth for some strange reason the photo does not show up at all. drat it all.
ReplyDeleteYou could always go knock on the door and make the Count an offer he cannot refuse, booahhahaha...

Reminds me of the houses we used to declare 'haunted' when we were kids. Somehow - as an adult - these houses have a more stately feel than a haunted one. Happy Halloween!!!
