i had the privilege to do a photo shoot last week
that completely took me out of my
"box"
which meant a lot of manual shooting
which meant doing math in my head in order to get my numbers to like each other
~
C is a musician
writing his own songs and making a cd
where the words are deep and hold soulful meanings
~
he had ideas and stories
that he tried desperately to convey to me
in hopes that i could capture them in photos
to be used for
the
front and back covers of the cd
and
the inside where the lyrics will be written
~
i hope i did
oh, yes, i can totally see these being used like that...love the tones, and the "darkness"
ReplyDeleteWow Beth these are wonderful. Nice to think outside the box, no?
ReplyDeleteMy problem is that I am old enough to remember when black and white photographs were the norm.(and now I cannot remember much else :)). Your photographs are great, when they are just simple (anything but, says Beth) black and white they embody a different energy. So powerful, well done and good luck to your client.
