Beth, I love this! The hand...the gracefully aging hand. That says it has seen lots of living, but will never be able to capture as much of life on canvas at it hopes! How nice is this?!
Beth, It is so true isn't it. If we only would learn to look at life through other peoples eyes, maybe we would think and act differently. But most of all appreciate more I believe and take that time to "smell the roses" as they say. You make me want to visit Wisconsin! Looking at the World through your eyes has made me cry, miss my Mother, and think of all the things I don't take the time to appreciate. Thank you for showing and sharing your World and thoughts as you do. You have truly been a blessing to me. <3
gorgeous photo...and thanks for the compliment on mine. I was proud of the pics I took- they did turn out well considering that the subjects (D and M) were ALL over the stage and pretty much in constant movement. I plan to become a concert photographer in my next life- (ha!) Enjoy the weather- hope yours is as beautiful as ours is!
Oh I love looking through the eyes of a stranger. Lovely! Her picture reminds me of a time spent in Wisconsin. I actually sketched a barn and corn in my journal. I need to go back to it this weekend and finish it.
Hi Beth, I really like the hand as well, seeing through the eyes of a stranger is perhaps something we all need to learn to do once in awhile.. gives us a new perspective on things.. such as your lovely photo.
Don't you wish you could do this? Set up your art supplies in some beautiful location and paint what you see?? My dad is an artist..I have always wished I could draw/paint. But I guess photography is a form of painting too!
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
