when i think of all of you
and
how you make me feel
it looks like this
~
hearts + all of you = me feeling loved
~
between your amazing comments
~reassuring me that i'm not dorky~
and
the birthday wishes
you've bestowed upon me for my "big day" tomorrow
~
well
honestly
i think of myself as incredibly blessed
and
without all of you
my days would be lonely
and
the house would be spotless
~since i would spend all of my time cleaning instead of sitting here at my computer~
~
and
between me and you
a spotless house
is so overrated
~
besides
i kind of like naming my dust bunnies and their babies

We be in the same place, my friend ! I am so thankful for my friends in blogland that keep me in touch throughout the day and make me feel like I am connected to something so much bigger than just my own little life.
ReplyDeleteYour BD tomorrow ? Oh, I hope you and the sweet sweet man have something juicy and oh so "feels good" planned !

You find love everywhere when there is love in your heart.

ReplyDeletexoxo
Debi
umm, I'm goofy. That should read you DID do hearts. (red face)
ReplyDeleteLovely post that makes me feel so good.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess all of our houses are messy because we are in the same boat. I mean the same sphere..... blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteI'd be just a tad lonely too If I didn't have all of you out there pop onto my computer screen.
I use to be a pathetic perfectionist about a clean and tidy house. Since my little girl I have learned that there are more important things to spend time on because children generally take away a lot of the time that you use to be able to spend on whatever you wanted. As well as sleep.
ReplyDeleteThese days we simply tidy up as much as we can (because it saves time to tidy now, rather than try and clean an heap). And when everything is semi-tidy, most people don't even see the little dust bunnies running around.
We do what we can and we priorities once we realise that time is indeed, going faster.
