today
i'm playing on one of those really cool playgrounds
where they still a have vintage merry-go-round
and
the kind of swings that take you high enough
so that you can touch the sun
~
it's kim's playground
and
oh
i'd be so incredibly happy if you came over
and
ran around in the grass with me
~
i'll even let you have the good end of the teeter totter

ps....for those of you missing my creative writing side, which has been a bit shy this summer, she's in full force today over at kim's place
I am mesmorized by your blog. I am new to this world -- so mine is very simple & not as gorgeous as so many others...BUT, I find that when i stumble upon ones like yours [which is definitely a guided subconscience path] -- I am inspired, moved and at peace. Thanks for your B.E.A.Utiful pics & your continued writing...you are so talented!! ><> Jacs

beautiful words, perfect picture. it's winter in South Africa and it is terribly cold so everyone is staying wrapped up inside their homes, but I read this and I can't wait for summer sun and being able to spend days at the playground with my daughter. she is finally at that age where she really appreciates a swing and a slide and everything else that has to do with playgrounds.
