Ohhh... yes... the everyday things I have right now will someday be a welcome surprise... amazing how that works. I hope they are more frequent than I imagine they will be :)
Who knew, right ? Distance makes the heart grow fonder, both ways I think. Sometimes, a little distance is the only way to go. Glad you are enjoying one another. Hugs, Beautiful One !
It is indeed a gift when grown kids come to visit. I miss my son so much. I live in Nebraska and he lives in Hawaii. It is special when grown kids want to see us and have time with us. Nice picture of your son.
Beth, I am so glad...when I left home the first time I was so homesick, I hope he and you share many many more dinners and I know you will. have a great week.
Oh, my dear friend, you are discovering what we have discovered. You treasure those dinners together when they don't happen so often. This photo makes me smile, as much for the personal thoughts it triggers as well as those for you.
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
For him, too, I bet! Mom, hugs, free food.

ReplyDeleteThat looks just like what my oldest wears!!! Your son must be enjoying his independence and you must be enjoying his company every time returns.
