I know
we can celebrate hearts and love
anytime of the year
and
most of us do
but
I wanted to squeeze in one last valentine photo
before
everything turns pastel
and
bunnies take over the world
::
when I was out shoveling a few weeks ago
the snow had turned hard and wicked
and
my muscles ached just looking at it
but
see what kept me motivated
?
little heart chunks
were everywhere
and
even though I was cold and my shoulders hurt
my spirit
was jumping around like a three year old
::
so to all of you
my blog loves
who inspire me more than you'll ever know
and
fill my heart everyday with love
I give to you
a
sun filled
dancing in a field of wild flowers
walking hand in hand while talking about life
sleeping under the stars
chunk
of
my
heart
*
very beautiful. see them always. good motivation

I'm beginning to think these things only happen to you, Beth. Actually, I know that it's because you see things others might miss. Seriously delightful, those snow hearts!
ReplyDeleteThis is really sweet. As you explain the happiness the heart shaped snow chunks gave you, it was great fun to share it with you even after the fact. That is a nice thing to share with everyone. I will take any sun filled anything right now. I am not getting depressed or unhappy with the snow, it is just that for a couple months not to see any lawns and only piles and piles of snow and occasionally more falling. This is a great gift of a post.
ReplyDeleteSuch great shots sweetie and I hope you had a wonderful weekend and Valentine's Day. BTW I would love for you to guest post on Under the Sheets anytime. Email me...

ReplyDeleteIt's too late, Beth... the bunnies have landed. Spring/Easter has invaded the aisles. I swear to you, I saw a two foot tall chocolate bunny just taunting me. "You can't eat all of me." he said. I think he's wrong, Beth...
ReplyDeleteWe will share that phonecall soon! I have had visitors in and out! Today, a whole house full of kids! Nerf battles were intense, but we all emerged victorious!
Was in Savannah over the weekend, and was thinking that I hope you get to see it someday. For someone that sees the beauty in older spaces, it is right up your alley, Sister~Friend! You know, I'd be happy to meet you there for an afternoon of fun!
