So fun ! I have heard your voice and I have seen your face but I have never seen the whole beautiful package. I think you look great and what I love is how natural you were. Brave, and open hearted, just as I imagined you. BTW - you have a beautiful smile ! ;) Big love to you ! Good choice !;)
Beth honey...you are so brave and you look fabulous!! I love the hoop earrings on you!! I love the earrings. LOL!! I agree with Kim...beautiful smile!!!! Hugging you SueAnn PS Loved the charm necklace...very cool!!
Beth, lovely I could hardly hear you, but it was nice to watch, I love, love the necklace, you are so gorgeous, you have the most amazing skin! But the most beautiful smile. Big hugs.
Oh Beth, I was feeling so amazingly down and found my way here and you crack me up. You are as beautiful outside as you are on the inside. A total natural. Love the earrings. And really really like Kim's charms. What a great idea!
Beth I wasn't at all sure what to expect when I saw your face come on the video, but I really enjoying seeing and listening to you. I'll leave the compliments to everyone else, although I will say that you came across as very natural and funny. Liking your face! Now that's a novel idea. Pretty brilliant, actually, for this idea to come up. You might get a bunch of copycat videos...
Terrific video blog :) The opposite/mirror image must be strange but you'll get used to it. Now we're all going to wait for you to come up with something fun, heehee.
love love love it! and you! i may try this sometime! because you've encouraged me. isn't it funny how people sound? remember when we talked on the phone and you said i sound young...and it's not that you sound different than what i expect you to, it's just that we read and read and see and see and then there you are. the real you. love it! (and you).
Good for you! You did great! I went through that same exercise about 1 and 1/2 ago when I started doing video reports for CNN iReports. It does take getting accustomed to, but you seem to be a natural! Go Beth!
This looks fun! I was gifted a webcam for my birthday, but something was amiss and it repeated crashed my computer so I'm hoping to get a new one soon. It's original purpose was Skype, but an occasional vlog blog sounds fun.
Love this post! It was like hanging out with an old friend. You are so easy going on the camera. So cool. Not sure I will ever be brave enough to do that...only because I hate my voice. I have that awful Chicaaaaago accent. Like "Let's go to the Jewels and get some saaaaasage." Da Bears! Seriously...it's bad!
Beth, you look great. You have beautiful skin and gorgeous teeth. I only wish I looked half as good so up close and personal....Great post my friend.....:-) Hugs
I'm hoping that you do, you know, like it too. Can I just say for some odd reason, I noticed you have really beautiful teeth... they're even and white and I was just fixated for some reason even though really all of you is equally as beautiful! Loved hearing you!
I didn't know that I could adore you more! mwah!!!
I'm not sure why I'm surprised...you sound a bit different than I thought you would. Maybe the voice is a bit deeper than I expected - but in a good sex-ay way. LOL
Love your necklace - I don't wear earrings because They bug me. Yay for you being brave.
oh just love you!!! you are so brave so incredibly brave. It was so great to hear your voice and see your words flow out of your mouth. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. You are beautiful. I cannot wait to see and hear more ;)
Oh Beth it's great to see you face to face. Love what you did and had a big laugh over the fact how long you can talk about earrings....yea you rock woman. I never ever could do this I think...I'm so darn camera shy I would turn out too funny and scare the s..t out of you all. But I am so glad again,...to have seen you, hear you I might play it again and drink a coffee with you(maybe this is an idea for your next video blog). Looking forward to it. Dagmar
I think your Vlog went perfectly! I love it because now when I read your words, I can hear your voice and that is major for me...
I've heard people remark about the the whole opposites thing when doing the vlog and me, myself, I would get a small case of nausea or something with trying to do it...
brave & beautiful beth!! loved your vlog. and your word for this year and the fact that you don't know what it is you'll be doing but you'll be doing. i am right there with you. :) and i agree with kt, the earrings look great on you. xx s
Nah, no issue being on camera for me ;-) I do these but haven't in a while. I'm actually working on one because people enjoyed my vlogs and started asking what happened to them.
Really the secret to it all is to keep focus on the light by the lens and imagine your friends are there and you're talking to them. It's strange doing these video posts at first but you will start having more and more fun with them before you know it.
I don't have a video camera but maybe I'll try a self portrait soon, I find it really difficult to look at pictures of myself. I think you did a great job of your first video blog.
Everything about this is perfect. You are a such an inspiration in a gentle and easy and empowering way. That your pictures and words always reflect kindness, compassion, and gratitude is reinforced in this vlog. Thanks for sharing and adding another dimension to this space, to our virtual friendship, to this community as a whole.
That was a cool video! Well done!! I am a portraitartist so I paint portraits; peoples faces. But I am really having a problem with my own face! I could ever do this what you just did. It was inspiering though to wach you talk right into the camera - and who knows? With some PRACTICE maybe even I could become this brave!!!
Beth, you are such a cutie! A beauty, really... :) If I ever made a video of myself, it would be with a big hood over my head lol So I guess I'm not really there yet in the "loving my face" race... :)
i LOVE that you did this. what a pleasure it was to see and hear your voice this way. I don't believe I could ever do this. thank you for being brave. really.
make some more! so fun to get to know you a bit better, your beautiful inside & out ♥
you inspired me to figure out how to do a vlog on my blog! i'm new to blogging and having so much fun ~ do you have a list of the blogs you chatted about in the video?
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
