Luck has something to do with it as moments to capture shots like these happen so quickly. But it's also being in tune with what it going on around you that prepares to be making the settings that you will need in those next moments. I hope those feet are nice and toasty in your funky socks! That's some snow fall!
Beautiful!! You are so right! A heavy head {heart} needs to see the freedom of flight. The beauty and the grace. Thank you for lifting my head. Hugs SueAnn
Beautiful shot, Beth! I love birds, too. I used to skydive, so I like to claim that I have a special kinship to them.... soaring through the air. (That gravity though was a stinker... my featherless wings just couldn't get the hang of flapping and maintaining altitude!)
i spent two hours this morning trying to capture the many sea birds around the beach. but not one of my efforts turned out as good as this. maybe luck was not on my side.
What a gorgeous shot, beth !Lucky yes, but i agree with the other Kim - you have to be in tune with your environment and looking for those moments to be there to "capture" then. May your head and heart feel lighter... Big love to you!
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
"consider the birds," is no small statement is it?! Beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteLuck, maybe...but preparation met opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in luck; I believe in blessings. ;)
