my children
~now both full fledged adults at 18 and 21~
whined and complained
when I mentioned those two awful words
"photo and shoot"
and
then pointed to both of them
~~
they gave me 30 minutes this past sunday afternoon to
"get the job done"
and
surprisingly
I did get a few that will work for our christmas cards
but
most of them turned out like this
where the love factor was just overflowing
and
made me wish that I had given birth to 6 or 7 more
just like them

Love it...sometimes the playful pictures are the best.
ReplyDeleteha ha ha...mine are 17... 21, very good years right!
ReplyDeleteheee heee heeee. they are great shots those though!
ReplyDeleteMy testosterone trio, at 38, 27, and 25 are the same way. I have to pout and threaten to get them to let me take a photo...when Alex marries in May, at least, I hope he'll soften a bit - he will, occasionally, allow a photo with the two DOGS. Of course, they never minded action high school football and college photos and Jeremy liked his division one college track shots, leaping over poles, etc...a gangle of arms and legs. Go figure!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth thanks for your sweet words on my post. Yes I should have made them kick there legs high up in the air. But didn't notice until I've got home...and I didn't dare to ask them again. Giggles...
ReplyDeleteYour kids look lovely playing and fooling around still at there age, I'm having a blast. Thanks for showing them to us.
I'm gladd to know you and learn so very much from you. Dagmar
These are great.
ReplyDeleteYou mean there is no hope? I had thought the older they got the more readily they would agree to cooperate for some photos... shoot... illusion shattered :)
ReplyDeleteI guess you just take what they give and then cross your fingers a bit! Obviously there is something amongst their playfulness :)
Beth, they are wonderful kids, you can see the love in these pictures. 5 or 7 more...not, that made me laugh. take care my friend.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures remind me of my two and taking photos. They can never give me a serious look, but isn't it fun?
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when they cooperate?
ReplyDeleteI'm rolling with your last word..NOT! They are a ton of fun and there are reasons we stop when we do...so we can enjoy the love factor overflows!
ReplyDeleteI think those two shots are perfect for Christmas! It's what the holidays are all about...
ReplyDelete:-)
(((hugs))),

me
i'd use the one where she is sitting on him. (;
ReplyDeleteSo much fun....... Glad you got them together for this...they will thank you years down the road!

ReplyDeletewell said Mom, well said ~wink~
ReplyDeleteRegardless, these are wonderful!
ReplyDeletelooks familiar...my sister and I goofing off at this exact interval...smiles.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could take pictures of my little family. I think you'd catch our own love factor better than anyone I know.
ReplyDeleteAwe, they are perfect :-)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Did you go through a phase with them when they were younger and they wouldn't DARE touch each other? Wouldn't go near each other, just for the few moments it took to take their picture? Now look at them!
ReplyDeleteSo much love. xo
