I'm not dressing up for halloween this year
~actually I can't remember the last time I did~
but
I decided to dress up this photo instead
~~
when my hubby first looked at it
he thought it was fake
and
with a sly smile on his face
and
an eyebrow raised into the shape of a question mark
said
"you totally added that bird in there"
~~
I rolled my eyes at him
gave him the cold shoulder
and
went back to my files
to find the original photo
just so I could whack him over the head with it
~~
the photo above is the original
and
the one below
well
that's a dancing bird photo
and
my hubby
he's fine
I didn't hit him that hard

Beth, both photos are great...nice and dark, eerie. Now, show us the one of hubby, with his head bandaged!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL the bird is a bit perfect though
ReplyDeletecute....
I don't dress up anymore
Too funny! Changing it to black and white or greyscale totally worked! Looks mighty convincing indeed :)
ReplyDeleteI've had many a moment like that with my honey! I love this image, I love finding lone images of birdies - swooooooon!
ReplyDelete:-)
(((hugs))),
love,
me
Adding the black and white does make the sky look a little more spooky. Watch out, Hitchcock!
ReplyDeleteCame from Poppie's page. Loved your sense of humor. Lone, dark, innocent bird. That's how Hitchcock's movie sucks you in.
ReplyDeletegave me a good giggle telling the story of the pic and your husband
ReplyDeleteLovet he pic too:)

ReplyDeleteBeth, the photo is awesome and eerie, I am glad hubby is fine. too funny. Take care, I don't dress up anymore either. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, great eye! Love both; the greyscale is eerie but so is the blue. You have a knack for finding that perfect shot. And be nice to hubby! (You two are too cute together)
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing and so perfect for HaLLOWEEN. (btw, I don't dress up either.)
ReplyDeleteHave heart for your hubs... it is so hard to know these days what is real and what isn't... your photo of the wagon and pumpkins is amazing.
Love it---very Edgar Allan Poeish..."quoth the Raven...nevermore..."
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Very funny! Love the bird and the scary picture.
ReplyDeleteGreat, great, great photo. Brings Hitchcock to mind, which is fitting since it is Halloween.
ReplyDeletebeth this is great score one for you!

ReplyDeleteO ye of little faithful! He must have been so astounded at how good the photo was he could hardly believe his eyes.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a midnight dreary...! Fabulously creepy -- and I'm glad the naysayer got his comeuppance. Albeit gently.
