just try not to smile...

to photograph a wedding
would be an amazing dream of mine
~come true~
even though
I wouldn't have a clue how to do it
and
there wouldn't be any
do-overs
and
I'd be all sweaty and nervous
but
still
I'd like to try it
someday
~~
and
now
without fear or doubt
I've decided if someone asks me to shoot their special day
I would say yes
but
only

  1. That was absolutely gorgeous - that made my week!! What wonderful people with such a joy for life. I teared up - I am so pathetic when it comes to weddings. I could never photograph one - I would cry the whole way through it.

  3. That is the very first time I ever saw and heard a bride and groom applauded before they were married!!!

That was awesome, and the fun and joy of watching it made me cry, especially when I saw the white haired granny in the very front row clapping and getting into it.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Sing and dance and be glad!"

Wow, how wonderful that this church allowed this present expression of just that scripture.

Beth, you rock. This was grand!!

  8. I so agree! I've been thinking about that, too. Maybe offering to photograph for some young couple that can't otherwise afford a photographer. It would be such a great way to bless them as they start out. Love your blog, Beth. Peace, Glen

  12. Oh MY Gosh. What a laugh I just had. Mac was sitting by my side and he wondered if all of you brides came to the isle like chickens? Now I was laughing even more. Thanks.

  19. Poor Beth ... this is such a loooong shot, BUT if I were to ever get married again ... I'd call you to do the photography ... and it might have to be my wheelchair rocking down the aisle but hey, we'll decorate it first out in your studio!!!

  22. I have tears in my eyes. Happy tears. How wonderful!! My completley non-dancing husband said, "I can't think of any better reason to dance. Talk about something worth dancing about." Awwwwwww....
