it's not so "baaaaad"

I want to hug all of you
I really do
~~
your support and loving words
while waiting for my biopsy reports
have lifted me higher than I ever could have imagined
~~
the results are in
and
only one was positive
yippee
so
on july 15th
I'll see my dermatologist again
to have the rest of those ugly and bad and mean cells removed from my chest
and
then I'm going to throw them on the floor and stomp on them with my feet
and
say
"take that"
~~
well
at least in my dream last night that's what happened
and
you were all there to drink margaritas with me afterwards
and
then we danced

  1. That is very good news indeed! Relief. Now, take care of yourself in the sun (I know you are, but I just had to say that).

  2. hey beth. i know that i'm a new reader to your blog, but i've thumbed through a bit this morning, trying to catch up. yesterday i was at the pool talking to my friend about how while we were growing up, there was no sunscreen, only baby oil and blisters. i lathered my kids up and didn't put any on me, not because i'm interested in being tan, but mostly because i'm lazy sometimes and just follow my little boy as he runs away. we weren't out there long, but i was thinking about how i always put sunscreen on the kids, but never me.
i am glad that you results came back positive. and i will pray for the rest as you go back in july. but i thank you for this reminder...well, not this one, but a some posts back...that i need to put the sunscreen on me too.

  26. Huh? Boy, go away a couple of weeks and read blogs backwards and yikes -- you miss a lot. Well, I'm glad the report was nearly ALL very good and that you can take care of those nasty babies fast. Stomp hard! And I'm pulling for you. Please let me know if there's anything I can do across the miles.
