finally being brave.....

ever have that feeling that everyone
around you knows
what's going on
but yet
you feel lost
~~~~~
it's not always fun
but
at least as an adult
it's a little less scary
~~~~~
so
I've decided if
I'm brave enough
to go into abandoned houses
and
barns
with
KEEP OUT
and
NO TRESPASSING
signs
posted
~~~~~
then
I'm certainly
brave enough
to play
in
photoshop
~~~~~
right
~~~~~
oh for the love of all that is holy
help me
  2. Of course(!) you can. By the way, I have been told (by several folks) that the Visual Quickstart books are the best - if you are inclined to get a book. I'm inclined to keep sweetly nagging our lil darlin' Susan to hold an online class so we can learn from her :-)
  8. I used Photoshop for years as a professional artist but rarely use it now. I prefer the more hands on, get your hands gluey approach. What part scares you? Not knowing how the tools work? Layers? How to make it do what you want it to do? I could probably answer some of your questions. Um, didn't your program come with a book?
  9. Ugh, I think I just fed into your feeling like everyone knows what's going on except you. heehee Not my intention. I just think that Photoshop is not a very necessary tool unless you are having your art professionally printed. It's a fun program, but being a detail person, I get all caught up in nitpicking every pixel instead of making fun, could be messy, art.
  11. Photoshop. I haven't even mastered the silly photo cropping program on my computer. But sometime. Maybe that would be a good winter activity!
