I watched the Today Show this morning
and was caught off guard when
they showed this clip.
~~~~~
Granted
I'm an emotional wreck
when it comes to any living thing
{just ask my family}
~~~~~
BUT
this just tore at my heart strings
and
I wanted to share it with all of you
~~~~~
Please
try to
watch it twice
~~~~~
the first time
read the story
and
the second time
with your volume on high
just watch
~~~~~
and
don't tell me you didn't tear up
when you watched this
OR
I'll have to assume you have a heart made of stone
~~~~~
side note....
it was an african lion sanctuary that Christian was living in
~not the wild wilds of Africa~
I saw this yesterday -- my cousin sent it to me (YouTube) and I was the same. Teary all over the place, thinking about how much love and trust this represented. I'm so glad you posted it!
ReplyDeletePS -- this is even better than the other YouTube clip I saw yesterday. Watch THIS one, even if you've seen the other!
ReplyDeletei will NEVER tire of watching this clip. i had seen it on another blog about two weeks ago. it fills my heart with so much warmth and brings tears to my eyes each time.... it's touching beyond words. a testament on the how deeply loving of each other animals and humans can be.
ReplyDeleteI saw this yesterday on The View and cried through it then as I just did again now (plus I love the song). I love that clip- so touching- the bond between animals and humans. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me? I watched this yesterday about 29 times, sent it to everyone I love ... what a beautiful story! So wonderful to read/watch PURE HAPPINESS on the 'news' as opposed to the normal car bombings, kidnappings, and child abusings. And what I wouldn't give for a full-body hug from a Big Cat! (a tiger, oh man, a TIGER -- my dream)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Not only hugs in the clip, but I feel like I just got a hug from you too!
ReplyDeleteI would watch this...but I can't stand to cry my eyes right now. I can really breakdown when animals are involved........ Is it about the man who came back to see the lion he raised from a baby and then he came back to the wild to see him?
ReplyDeleteokay, I watched it and my heart is so warmed....that is just so lovely..one of those moments that makes life so sweet and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
thank you for sharing this clip---what a beautiful story!
ReplyDeleteCrying. Crying, crying.
ReplyDelete... Still crying. This is so amazing. But, somehow, not surprising. I think animals are one of the ways God chooses to show Himself to us in this world. They are innocent and so - well, so much themselves. This was just amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Oh yeah, when you get a chance, please stop by my blog. I left something there I hope you will enjoy.
ReplyDeleteokay I am not clicking on the clip right now
ReplyDeleteAhm just not gonna do it.....
after all that , I am back to watch it a third time this morning....sniff sniff ! I couldn't quit thinking about it. So wondeful of you to share this !
ReplyDeleteThank You.
