Yes people, I've actually been in my studio playing.
{look at that mess}
I've probably lost all of my "art buddies" since it's been FOREVER
that I've posted anything art related.
So if you're still out there, I've got some journal pages ready to share with you.
thanks to Suziblu.
{don't you just love her and want to spend a day with her?}
and obviously I had a hard time
trying to photograph
2 pages at once.
I'm not sure which one she uses,
but I liked that this one had watercolor paper in it...
I like that heavy feel !
I used the "regular" stuff...
magazine everything, rub-ons, markers and paint
and tons of my scrapbook paper...

Wahooo!!!!! Beth art!!! Love it!! How did you do the circles? Free hand? Watercolors? Great pages!!!! I love Suziblu too!
ReplyDeleteDid you have fun? I bet you did. Was Sophie snoozing right by you while you did this stuff? How long have you had the moleskin before starting?
so exciting!
Wow Beth! You're new journal is wonderful! I came over here from your comment on Suziblu's blog. Isn't she just fabulous? :) Seeing her moleskine made me go out and buy one, but I haven't managed to do much in it yet other than sketch ideas for future paintings, but I do love it! :D

I am totally rocked out and wildly impressed! What extraordinary productivity and so gloriously creative! I particularly love the SING panel, but oh -- all of them. What an array of colors, materials... You go, girl! Is there a new muse in town?
ReplyDeleteawesome!!! beth, your journals are really the best..

ReplyDeleteDear Beth, I am SO glad I came over here today, I LOVE your art, it is just beautiful. I am so inspired to try something like that, I wonder whether I could do it??? Hmm, I love scrapbooking and I have a lot of scrap papers, I must have some of that tape I think you called it 'drywall' tape, not sure what it's called in Oz but I must find some, what a great way to add a bit of texture and a bit of something! Also my dear, thank you so much for your continuing support through this journey of mine through cancer, I appreciate it very much, love and hugs to you Jen xx (keep on making art, please!)
