oh yes we would.....

i wish all of you could come over and sit on my porch with me. we'd spend the afternoon talking about my last post, while i thanked each and everyone of you for your support.
~
then we'd drink cups and cups of tea and watch the sky turn colors. we'd start to stumble and giggle over each others words while running hand in hand through the prairie grasses. we'd be nothing but ourselves with our hair blowing in the wind, while being so grateful that this blogging world brought us together. and we'd be sad when it came time to say good-bye.
~
yes, that's what we'd do.

thank you. all of you. for being you. for being there. for me.

  5. Any time, Beth! I'd love to come sit with you and the rest of your blogging friends for tea and talk. I just bought some tea today as a matter of fact, from a store called Teavana. Tea and friends are good for the soul. Love your beautiful photos. Take care now...

I would love giggling and running through the prairie grass with you. That is the best thing with friends no matter where they are, we can dream and imagine together.

  8. Isn't the world of blogging amazing? I have 'met' so many wonderful, supportive online friends. And yes, it would be fabulous to sit on the porch and chat and giggle then take off running through the prairie grasses with you! (Although, I may not make it back to the porch after running, hahaha!)

  18. I do miss that about these internet friendships...the ability to reach out and touch someone...and laugh and run (or walk) together. It sure sounds like fun even if my hair is too short to blow in the wind:)

  22. Oh Beth,

I just got caught up on you blog. I have been gone (again)...this time to my fathers. To take him to the doctor, take care of some of his things that he cant navigate any more. He is not adjusting very well to the assisted living home. This was on the tail of another trip to Denver with my sister (another heartbreaking trip for sure). Maybe I am just raw from all this...and maybe it has brought me some clarity...
When I got to your post from the 20th...my heart went out to you AND I wanted to slap you at the same time...(slap you in the most loving sort of way) :).
I know how you feel when the kids leave home...I wandered around the empty house for about a year trying to fingure out what to do with myself. But then it struck me...I can do ANYTHING I WANT...ANYTHING!
Dear Beth...if you are not in need of the money why would you even consider going back to work?
Your gifts are MANY! Your gifts are MANY! Your gifts are MANY! (Are you getting my point?) The world is in great need of people like you who can INSPIRE and teach those who are wanting to open their eyes to the beauty of the world through the lense of a camera. You have such a gift that way. And the line would be long if you were to offer your knowledge and insight on how to grow as a photographer. And that is just ONE suggestion. The world is at your fingertips...just pick something...anything you want to try...ANYTHING (well except poll dancing...dont thing it would go with the decor of your home)...
Play...be curious...explore...take some time to get your sea legs...you have a wonderful opportunity...this is GREAT! I would LOVE to not have to work...LOVE IT! Before you know it you will be over scheduled with things to do...and happy...if you follow your heart. It is a blessing if you ask me...that you didn't get a call back from those job applications...that is not your calling in my humble opinion...no sirrie...perhaps go back out into mother nature...with a pen and paper...turn your face to the sun...and just listen...tell her you are brain storming on what to do next...ask for suggestions...and write what EVER comes to mind...play with it...you'll be surprised...maybe scared...and possibly passionatly, amazingly alive with possibility! At least that is what I wish for you.
